This information will be exchanged during the in-service phase of the Platform, System or Equipment (PSE) and will flow within the front line user/support communities and also from these communities to the 'headquarters' design/support communities.

It is used as input to the analysis process that judges the performance of a PSE and/or its support solution and effects any necessary changes to the support solution. It will also be used within the support planning process to determine which future maintenance activities will be undertaken.
