Scope

The following are within the scope of this Data Exchange Specification (DEX):

• Initial and subsequent submission of task analysis data
• Product breakdown (functional, physical or a combination of both)
• Task/subtask sequence and definition
• Preventative and corrective maintenance plan data
• Support levels at which the maintenance is performed
• Task times
• Task triggers (e.g. failure, event, time constraint)
• Repair and replacement parts elements for lists
• Document reference and digital documents including reports
• Facility resources required for the task
• Definition of Support Equipment and Test Equipment required for the task
• Human skills required for the task

The following are outside the scope of this Data Exchange Specification (DEX):

• This DEX represents a subset of the entire Logistics Support Analysis data
• Any method to determine certain operating parameters or reliability data
