Scope

The following are within the scope of this Data Exchange Specification (DEX):

• The identification of the Support Environment.
• Identification of the platform, system and equipment (PSE) to be supported.
• Reference to the all relevant support requirements, objectives and constraints.
• Identification of the organizations that may support the PSE.
• Identification of the locations in which the PSE may be supported.
• The physical characteristics of the environments in which the PSE may be supported.
• The capabilities of the support environment as derived from the quantification of the facilities, skill sets, spares, tools, test equipment and consumables typically available at each support node.
• Specification of typical support node supply distances and times via each potential transportation mode.

The following are outside the scope of this Data Exchange Specification (DEX):

• Feedback from in-service performance relating to any of the above.
