Introduction

The Support Environment DEX has been created to enable the definition of relevant conditions at identified locations that could affect the provision of support for the Platform, System or Equipment (PSE) under consideration and hence the support solution. The relevant characteristics of a support environment might include natural factors such as: temperature ranges; altitude; humidity; wind conditions; dust; ice; snow etc, but could also include: logistic times for provision and return of items; capabilities and resources at a location, including general support such as storage facilities; and organisational factors.
