Table 1 — Support Environment information requirements
The Support Environment DEX will identify the specific PSE to be supported. It will include any assumptions made in the preparation of the DEX and any relevant requirements that affect it. It will show the related support organisations and explain their relationship .
The Support Environment DEX will detail the locations and associated physical environmental characteristics of fixed and (potential) mobile sites that may be part of the PSE’s final Support Solution; it will describe the capabilities and resources that could be expected to be found at these locations and explain the transportation characteristics of the supply and return systems of assets and spares between locations.
The resources identified as available at the various locations will include, but not be limited to, inventory items, facilities, utilities and personnel or organisations with particular skills and qualifications.
Not all relevant information is easily contained within the DEX framework and so associations to Documents will be established.
