Scope

The following are within the scope of this Data Exchange Specification (DEX):

• The identification, naming, versioning and status of the PSE Behaviour.
• Identification of the platform, system and equipment (PSE) to which the behaviour relates.
• The functional breakdown of the PSE.
• The physical breakdown of the PSE.
• The expected behaviour of the functional and physical elements of the PSE in terms of anticipated failures, failure modes, their expected probabilities, frequencies of occurrence and effects.
• The consequences of expected failures and failure modes.

The following are outside the scope of this Data Exchange Specification (DEX):

• The results of RCM analyses of failures and failure modes that justify the development of corrective and preventive support tasks.
• The recording and reporting of actual symptoms, faults and failures of products.
