Introduction

The Platform System Equipment Behaviour DEX enables the exchange of information on the expected behaviour of an identified group of products from a support management perspective, defined in terms of a functional breakdown related to the LSI structure, with all associated fault states, failure modes and their expected frequencies of occurrence. It could be considered as being essentially the output of a FMECA, without all the analysis logic. It allows for the management of failures with reference to physical items in use, but separate from the analyses that produced them.
