Scope

The following are within the scope of this Data Exchange Specification (DEX):

The identification of the set of one or more items that will be the subject of support concept and support solution development activities. Items may be identified by part number, NSN or serial number.
Items may include whole platforms, test systems, training equipments, cross-platform equipment, for example, communications systems, pumps, engines.

The following are outside the scope of this Data Exchange Specification (DEX):

Properties and documents associated with the Platform, system and equipment.
The breakdown and assembly structure of the Platform, system and equipment.
The usage of the Platform, System and Equipment.
