The Documentation DEX allows for a set of related documents and their associated attributes to be defined, such that it can easily be associated with other objects for transmission. The format, i.e. hard copy or electronic, can be defined and locations can be expressed; as can version, status and security classification.

This DEX can be used and re-used throughout the life of a product whenever information about a grouped set of documents needs to be exchanged.
