The information exchanged by this DEX is likely to be derived mainly from stores management systems and it is expected that it will be reported periodically in order to enable IPTs, Supply Chain managers and Industry Partners to analyse the performance of various stages of the Supply Chain. It will consist of transactional data giving times for each stage of the processing and satisfaction of a demand to give the overall Customer Wait Time (CWT). It will also cover the reporting of exceptions and failures to fully satisfy a demand. This data will be subject to subsequent analysis to determine the performance of the Supply Chain, using for example comparison against standard pipeline times.
