Introduction

This business DEX defines the information content for the identification of the recommended facilities required to support a Product, System and/or Equipment in a specific support context, over a defined period of time.

The exchange includes the assumptions, constraints and the time period over which the facilities are required for the support solution.

The exchange of facility reccomendations will ensure that the development of new facilities and the adaptation and maintenance of existing facilities/installations is able to take into account the requirements of dependant platforms, systems and equipment.

The information structure for these types of resources will be different to other types of resources and they may also be communicated between different organizations and systems and so the transfer has been defined separately.
