The information requirements table for the recommended facilities DEX is shown below:

In terms of business objects, these information requirements are modelled as shown below in Figure 1.

NOTE    For clarity, not all of the dependent business objects are included on the diagram.

The Recommended Facilities DEX allows for the description/definition of:

• The specification of the time period for which the resource recommendations are made.
• Reference to the underlying assumptions, constraints and risks, (such as resupply times, provisioning methods, transportation times, budgets, required availability, Health and Safety legislation), upon which the recommendations are made.
• Identification of any schedules and activities from which the resource recommendations were derived.
• Identification of the recommended facilities to support the Platforms, Systems and Equipment (PSE) for which the associated Support Solution Definition was developed, including location, quantity and any relevant availability information. This may include reference to specific existing facilities as well as types of facilities.
• The cost properties associated with each resource.
• Versioning of the recommendation.
• The status of the recommendation.
• The references to the organizations that make and receive the recommendation.
• Associations with relevant documents supporting the recommendations or processes.
