recommended_facilities Business Overview

The Support Solution is developed under the control of organisations and contractors, and each support element is normally subject to detailed analysis, resulting in support strategies and appropriate resource recommendations.

Recommendations for additional facilities or changes to existing facilities are likely to arise from detailed task analysis during the development of the Support Solution. Typically, such data would be held in the LSAR C Tables and be transmitted to the appropriate organization to procure/provide the relevant facilities. This tas may be carried out by ; it may be passed to an Industry partner to satisfy.

This document describes the TLSS Business Data Exchange Specification for defining Recommended Facilities information.

NOTE A facility type may be permanently fixed and located at a site (such as buildings, runways, dry docks, roads, bridges, railways ie. things not designed to be moved).

NOTE A facility type may be mobile (such as mobile workshops, portakabins, mobile bridges ie. things designed to be portable, but only functional when installed at a location).

NOTE A facility type may also be part of the end item equipment itself (such as workshops or hangars on board a vessel.
