This information will be exchanged during the in-service phase of the Platform, System or Equipment (PSE) life and will flow within the front line user/support communities and also from these communities to the 'headquarters' design/support communities.

It is used as input to the analysis process that judges the performance of a PSE and/or its support solution. It will also be used within the support planning process to determine which maintenance activities will be undertaken.
