Capability (C095):— assigning_descriptor | Date: 2007/06/22 12:22:09 Revision: 1.10 |
This capability describes how to assign descriptive information to entity instances in a data set. Descriptive information is text that doesn't have to comply with any given rules. Examples of descriptive information are descriptions, notes, comments and remarks. Discriptive information is additional to identifiers, properties and classifications.
The usage of this capability replaces the usage of the "description" attributes on entity instances.
NOTE There will be a SEDS raised against AP239 for the development of a specific module that deals with this requirement. This capability describes the recommended approach for representing descriptors until such a module has been developed and approved.
