Scope

The following are within the scope of this Data Exchange Specification (DEX):

• The reference to the Support Solution Definition for which the resources are recommended.
• The specification of the time period for which the resource recommendations are made.
• Reference to the underlying assumptions, constraints and risks (such as resupply times, provisioning methods, transportation times, budgets, required availability, Health and Safety legislation) upon which the recommendations are made.
• Identification of any schedules and activities from which the resource recommendations were derived.
• Identification of the recommended stockholding of spares, consumables, tools, test equipment and physical documentation to support the Platforms, system and equipment for which the associated Support Solution Definition was developed, including location, quantity and any relevant availability information.
• Identification of the recommended facilities to support the Platforms, system and equipment for which the associated Support Solution Definition was developed, including location, quantity and any relevant availability information. This may include reference to specific existing facilities as well as types of facilities.
• Identification of the recommended utilities to support the Platforms, system and equipment for which the associated Support Solution Definition was developed, including location, facility identifier, quantity and any relevant availability information.
• Identification of the recommended human resources (including grade, authority, skill, qualification, experience, security clearances) to support the Platforms, System and Equipment for which the associated Support Solution Definition was developed, including location, quantity, and any relevant availability information.
• Identification of the recommended documentation to support the Platforms, system and equipment for which the associated Support Solution Definition was developed, including both hardcopy and electronic documentation.
• The cost properties associated with each resource.
• Versioning of the recommendation.
• The status of the recommendation.
• The references to the organizations that make and receive the recommendation.
• Associations with relevant documents supporting the recommendations or processes.

The following are outside the scope of this Data Exchange Specification (DEX):

• Information related to in service supply transaction data (requests for quotations, orders, deliveries, invoices, payments).
• Information related to actual stockholdings and their physical storage and movements.
• Information related to specific individual people.
