recommended_documentation ISO 10303-239 Representation

The business objects introduced in the Business Information Overview section are modelled in PLCS through a set of business templates. Most business templates are based upon one or more generic PLCS templates. They may be specializations of a PLCS template using one or more classifications or characterizations to capture the required information, whilst some rename and use restricted parameters.

This section summarizes the mappings of the business objects to the corresponding templates. A diagrammatic representation of the AP239 templates used is shown below in Figure 2.

NOTE    To improve understanding of the diagram, not all of the templates referenced in the table are shown.

Assumption This information object represents the required infromation for an assumption about a required precondition used as a basis for decision.that has been made by a person. UK_Defence.assumption
Constraint This template describes how to represent a requirement that sets specific limits that must be complied with. UK_Defence.constraint
Document This information object represents reference material that follows a formal change approval mechanism. UK_Defence.document
Hardcopy Document This information object represents a document that is in hardcopy form. UK_Defence.hardcopy_document
Electronic Document This information object represents a document that is in electronic form. UK_Defence.electronic_document
Document Relationship This information object represents the relationship between two documents. For example, this could be used to state that one document has been or will be, produced using a standard or specification defined by the other document in the relationship. UK_Defence.related_documents
Facility This information object describes how to represent an installation providing one or more functional capabilities necessary to provide support to one or more equipment programmes. UK_Defence.facility
Location This information object defines a location. UK_Defence.location
Message This information object represents a communicated statement of events, activities, or outcomes that have taken place. UK_Defence.message
Person This information object represents the information describing a human being. This represents the information describing a human being. UK_Defence.person
Organization This information object represents an organized body, project, programme or society, which may or may not be a legal entity. UK_Defence.organization
Property The property business object is used by those TLSS Data Exchange Specifications that require information about a functional or physical aspect of the information object that it is a property of. UK_Defence.property
Recommended Documentation This information object identifies the recommended documentation required, over a defined period of time, to support the Platform, system and equipment for which the associated Support Solution Definition was developed. UK_Defence.recommended_documentation
Recommended Document This information object identifies the recommended documnt and the quantities required at a particular location. UK_Defence.recommended_document
Support Solution Definition This information object represents the results of analysing the support need for the related platform, system and equipment, in terms of the planned tasks that are required to support it through life. UK_Defence.support_solution_definition
Status Assignment This information object represents the record of the assignment of a status to a subject. UK_Defence.status_assignment
