Introduction

This business data exchange specification documents the information requirements and context for the use of the information which constitutes a Product Baseline. A Baseline is a snapshot of the Product Configuration Information at a particular time. This can be for a designated approval stage, build milestone or for any other reason defined in the Configuration Management Plan. This specification identifies the information flows, corresponding data source and sink activities, the business objects used to support the exchange, their corresponding through life support system requirements, the templates required to represent the object(s) and their attributes, other dependent templates, the reference data available for use in the templates, and the underlying PLCS entities required.
