Introduction

This capability describes how a record of work that has been done can be represented.

Examples of work done are:

a maintenance task performed on some equipment;
change made to some equipment in accordance with a technical bulletin.

This capability provides a history of the activities undertaken and the intended changes to any products that result from the activity. The capability does not provide a detailed history of the tasks that were done, the resources used and consumed to do the tasks. This is provided in the capability C059: representing_work_output.

NOTE The capability C032: representing_activity describes the representation of activities in more details.

This capability does not address:

describing the requesting of work or identification of issues (this is addressed by capability C066: representing_work_request)
authorizing work to be done as a result of the work request (this is addressed by capability C065: representing_work_order);
describing the work to be done (this is addressed by capabilities C032: representing_activity, C015: representing_task, C062: representing_scheme);
