Introduction: Have always thought that only in cases where there are date and time details, should Scheme be used, otherwise it is just a list of related Activities. Suggested otherwise.

This capability describes the possible uses and representations of a Scheme.

SCHEME is designed to be able to be used with different levels of complexity, from a simple list to the output of general office project planning tools. This capability covers the use of Scheme to describe schemes, schedules and plans, and also how to share the development of such plans by creating different versions of a SCHEME.

It does not provide detailed guidance on the concepts of schedules or planning. It is assumed that the user has a reasonable understanding of such principles.

It also does not address how;

a Scheme is used by other parts of AP239,
the Activity(s) within a schedule or plan are resourced,
the Activity(s) are defined,
Activity(s) are recorded during and after execution,
to record the impact upon the subject of the Scheme,
to report on the progress of the Scheme,
to report on the status of the subject.
