Key concepts and intended usage

The UK_Defence Task Description DEX is used to communicate a comprehensive description of how a required activity shall be performed.

This DEX is one of a group of UK_Defence DEXs that covers all types of task, plan, activity and schedule information exchanges, including the resources associated with those tasks and activities.

NOTE: A task shall be related to the context in which it is developed and to which it applies. For Support Tasks that are defined to be part of a Support Solution Definition, the context should be specified by reference to the product to which it applies and identification of the Deployment Environment and Support Concept for which the task was developed.
