Introduction

This DEX enables the exchange information relating to all elements of risk management pertaining to platform, system or equipment. This includes a coherent single Risk Register, plus feedback on risks. The data will include the identification of the risk, together with a range of information to describe, assess and quantify it. This includes data relating to both new and existing risks, mitigation actions and feedback on risks.

NOTE: Predictable risks of failures of equipment, are typically managed through use of the failure type information which result from FMECA and RCM processes. Significant risks identified by these processes may then also be managed separately as individual risks and migrate on to a risk register. This includes data relating to both new and existing instances of obsolescence.
