fleet_management Business Information Overview

The two main usage contexts of this DEX are reporting on:

The structure of the fleet which will change dynamically as Products are added or removed.
The fleet capability which will change dynamically as Products are added or removed.

The information exchange requirements (IERs) of this data exchange specification are based around the following main topics:

Fleet - Information representing a named collection of Products (related Fleet Components) that are managed as a whole to meet an operational requirement.
Fleet Component - Information representing the relationship between a Product (or group of products of the same type) and the Fleet to which it is assigned, between specific dates.
Fleet Capability - Information representing the ability of Products (which are related Fleet Components) to perform a function or meet a required aim.

Note, the overall managed fleet capability, between specific dates, is the derived set of Fleet Capability information.
