Test data

The feasibility of the NOLITO solution shall be demonstrated by using a set of test data. The starting-point for test data is a new weapon system that is introduced especially for the potential Norwegian customer. For this weapon system a new configuration item node (CIN) is created; in Teamcenter™ this will be called 'NoK1'. With this, the Gripen Aircraft functional level 'K1' is designated as the prime product for the weapon system.

On a high level this fictional Gripen Aircraft is called '39ENoK1', which implies the following characteristics:

E - Product generation E
No - Customer Norway
K1 - Functional level K1

Below this level of aircraft the following test data sets shall be created:

Materiel group 36, Environmental control system
Materiel group 37, Fuel system.

For both these materiel groups 36 and 37 the following data shall be provided in Teamcenter™:

CI-structure
Part realization (Equipment)
Part (equipment) structure.

Test data shall be exported from Teamcenter as NOLITO001 Business DEX Gripen Product Breakdown for Support.

A product configuration includes the following:

A breakdown of the product into Configuration Item Nodes, so-called CIN-structure.
A realization of the respective CINs.

For each CIN, at least the following data are exported:

Identity
Revision
Name
Type (Product Variant / Subsystem / Hardware Item)
Consists-of CIN
is-realized-by (one or several Parts).

For each Part, at least the following data are exported:

Identity
Revision
Name
Class (Assembly / Component / Standard_part)
- the structures exported in NOLITO from Teamcenter™ will only include Parts of type Assembly
only relevant if Class = Assembly and Equipment = Yes:
- Assembly may have a Sub-equipment structure (Has-subequipment)
- There may be an attribute for the authorized life of the Assembly (e.g. flight hours, landings etc.) The authorized life attribute may have multiple values, e.g. "400 flight hours" or "6 calendar months" is the maximum authorized life, whatever occurs first.

The following manufacturing specific product structure will not be considered in NOLITO:

Consists-of (Uses) Part (Assemblies may consist of Assemblies, Components and Standard parts).
