Abstract

The Task specification DEX specifies how to use ISO 10303-239 (PLCS) to represent a single typical task that can be carried out on complex products such as aircraft. The DEX represented information such as:

Identification of the item requiring support;
Identification and specification of a task;
Identification and specification of resources, including personnel, required to execute a task;
Specification of locations at which a task may be performed;
Specification of the organizations which can perform a task;
Justification for the existence of a task;
Identification and specification of the pre-conditions for task execution;
Identification and specification of the result of performing a task.
