Abstract

The MoDAvDEX DEX is a business DEX that specifies how the UK MoD is to use the OASIS Aviation Maintenance DEX.

The DEX identifies a set of messages that are exchanged by the MoD and industry partners that report on work that has been carried out on complex products such as aircraft. The messages report information such as:

the item on which work has been done;
the work that has been done to item;
the state of the item;
properties of the item, such as number of flying hours.
